Immerse yourself in the island’s culture by joining a “panigyri”, a lively festival with music, dance and local culinary delicacies where music and dance bring villages to life: a very famous festival in Naousa is taking place on 23 rd August and it’s called the festival of the pirates and represents the revival of a corsair night attack. “Routes in Marpissa” is a 3-day experiential cultural festival which takes place every August towards the end of the month, in the village of Marpissa and is framed by workshops, concerts, local music night.

Beginning of August there is a local gastronomic feast in Prodromos village where local women cook in the only wood oven of the village the famous chickpeas soup( revithada) which they treat to all visitors who will discover a unique experience of local gastronomy, wine, music and dance till the morning (www.imagine.paros.gr).
